Cavtel Email Setup

	1. Look for the Outlook Express icon on your desktop and double click it. Outlook Express
	2. Once the program is opened, left click on the Tools menu then left click on Accounts. Outlook Express

	3. Left click on the Mail tab.
	4. Left click on the Add button then left click on Mail. Mail

	5. Enter your full name in the Display name box
	6. Click the Next button.
	7. Enter your email address in the E-Mail address box.
	8. Click the Next button.
	9. Make sure the first box says POP3.
	10. Enter pop.cavtel.net in the Incoming mail server box.
	11. Enter smtp.cavtel.net in the Outgoing mail server box.
	12. Click the Next button.
	13. Enter your account name in the Account name box. If your email address is john@cavtel.net then your account name would be john.
	14. Enter your password in the Password box.
	15. Click the Next button.
	16. Click the Finish button.
	18. If you wish to double check your settings then continue otherwise click the Close button to finish the setup.
	19. Make sure pop.cavtel.net is highlighted then click the Properties button.
	20. Make sure your Name and E-mail address is correct.
	21. Click on the Servers tab.
	22. Make sure your incoming mail server is pop.cavtel.net, outgoing mail is smtp.cavtel.net and your account name and password are filled in correctly.
	23. Click the OK button then click the Close button.
	24. You are now done setting up Outlook Express.
